Affiliate disclosure
PickXpert is reader-supported. When you buy a product through one of our affiliate links, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you.
How affiliate links work
Some links on PickXpert are affiliate links, primarily to Amazon and other major retailers. If you click one and make a purchase within a defined window (typically 24 hours), the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale price. This comes out of the retailer's marketing budget, not your pocket.
Affiliate links never change our picks
We never recommend a product because it has a higher affiliate payout. Our editorial verdicts are made before we check whether a product is in the affiliate program. If the top pick in a category isn't in our affiliate program, we still recommend it — and we say so plainly.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates — commission up to 4% on qualifying purchases
- Best Buy Affiliate Program — commission on consumer electronics
- B&H Photo Affiliate Program — commission on photo and video gear
Our revenue
Affiliate commissions cover hosting, research, and the cost of buying products to test. We also accept direct sponsorship for clearly labeled "Sponsored" content — but sponsored coverage is never mixed with our editorial picks.
No paid reviews
We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review. Period. If a brand sends us a product, we disclose that — but we still report our honest findings, including any flaws.
Material connections
When PickXpert editors have a personal relationship with a brand (former employment, family connection, etc.), we disclose that on the relevant article.
